LA QUINTA, CALIF. – The American Express™ announced today that iconic Los Angeles pop rock band Maroon 5 and heralded American country musician and songwriter Brad Paisley will comprise its musical lineup for its 2022 Concert Series Jan. 21-22 on the PGA WEST Stadium Course driving range at Coachella Valley’s annual PGA TOUR golf tournament.
Maroon 5 – currently featuring lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist P.J. Morton and multi-instrumentalist and bassist Sam Farrar – will open The American Express’ Concert Series after the conclusion of second-round play on Friday, Jan. 21, with Paisley taking the stage after the tournament’s third round on Saturday, Jan. 22.
The 2022 American Express features tournament host Phil Mickelson, the World Golf Hall of Famer and six-time major champion, among 156 professionals and 156 amateur golfers playing at PGA WEST’s Stadium Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course and La Quinta Country Club in La Quinta, Calif.
All ticket options for the 2022 American Express (Jan. 19-23) are currently on sale at the tournament’s official website, www.theamexgolf.com. Grounds tickets for Friday’s second round and Saturday’s third round are $125 for each day (includes admission to the golf tournament and post-round concert).
An upgraded ‘Champions Club’ ticket for the concert days (Jan. 21-22) – which entitles patrons to experience the PGA TOUR golf action while enjoying a hosted breakfast, lunch, snack and full bar in the Champions Club, preferred parking and exclusive concert viewing access near the stage – is $350 for each day.

For Capt. Herman Lopez, the $10,000 donation to the Hunter Lopez Memorial Scholarship Fund from The American Express PGA Tour event was just the latest sign that Hunter Lopez’ impact will live on.

LA QUINTA, CALIF. – The American Express™ announced a $1.1 million charitable donation from the 2021 PGA TOUR golf tournament to be distributed among 36 partner organizations in the Coachella Valley during a presentation Tuesday morning at La Quinta Country Club.
The American Express and The Mickelson Foundation – a 501(c)(3) organization and the tournament’s non-profit arm since 2019 – strive to provide funding to organizations that support health and wellness, youth sports, family support, education and homelessness. The American Express designated funding from the 2021 event (played January 21 to 24) to the following charitable organizations which serve the Coachella Valley:

The American Express is the first PGA TOUR regular season event in the continental U.S. each year and kicks off the TOUR’s West Coast swing in La Quinta, Calif. The 2022 tournament features 156 professionals and 156 amateur golfers playing a round each at PGA WEST’s Stadium Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course and La Quinta Country Club from Thursday, Jan. 20 through Saturday, Jan. 22, before playing the final round exclusively on the Stadium Course on Sunday, Jan. 23.
