15 Deserving Charitable Organizations Receive Donations

LA QUINTA, Calif. (November 4, 2025) – Impact Through Golf, the host organization and charitable foundation for The American Express®, hosted its annual Community Impact Celebration today, revealing the charities selected to receive donations this year. $1.1 million was awarded to 15 deserving organizations, which was generated from the proceeds of The American Express® tournament during the 2025 PGA TOUR season.

The charitable donations were distributed to nonprofit organizations focused on health and wellness, education, youth and family support, aiding those experiencing homelessness, natural disaster relief and recovery, and capital improvement. As part of the $1.1 million, Impact Through Golf contributed emergency funds to the American Red Cross Southern California Region and the California Community Foundation shortly after the devastating wildfires last January. Since the tournament’s inception in 1960, this event has donated more than $67 million in support of over 100 non-profit organizations based in the Greater Coachella Valley region.

“This tournament has brought our values to life by giving back to the Coachella Valley community,” said Shiz Suzuki, Vice President, Global Brand Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing, American Express. “Through our partnership with the Impact Through Golf Foundation, we’re proud to continue supporting local organizations that make a lasting difference for residents and families across the region.”
